Welcome to the Cedar Ridge HS Royalty Store
Royal Treatment 2024
$75.00
Royal Treatment is a fun and memorable clinic and half-time performance for dancers in K-6th grade. It also serves as a fundraiser for our Royalty Dance Team Booster Club that helps support our Cedar Ridge Royalty Dance Team. The Royalty Booster Club works alongside our Royalty Directors to put on this event.
*If you need to register multiple participants, you will need to complete this registration for each child.
Clinic: On Saturday, Oct. 19th from 9am to12pm, registered dancers will attend a dance clinic at Cedar Ridge High School. Each registered dancer is assigned to dance alongside a Royalty member. Each Royalty member is assigned 2-3 registered dancers. Each participant will receive backpack, shirt and set of pom poms. They will have their individual picture taken with Royalty gear as a keepsake from the experience. An assortment of snacks and drinks will also be provided. Due to the space issues, parents are not permitted to stay during the clinic. However, there will be a parent showcase where dancers can show off their skills at 11:45am.
Half-time performance: On Friday, Oct. 25th at 6:30pm, dancers will join Royalty for a halftime game performance. Parents will drop their child off on the homefield side of Kelly Reeves stadium between 6 and 6:30pm. Dancers will join their yard line groupings. Pizza will be provided. Participants will join the dancer to participate in victory lines and then sit in the stands with their Royalty dancers until halftime. After they perform at halftime, dancers are released to their parents. Please note that admission to the game is only included for the dancer. Families and friends will need to pay the normal game admission fee.
Cost:
Registration is $75 per dancer.
For RRISD employees, registration is $50. You must register with your RRISD email for verification. Use code RRISDStaff at checkout.
Registration includes a t-shirt, pom poms and backpack for all dancers.
While this event is a fundraiser, we do want to make this accessible for families. Please contact us for scholarships.
Additional Details:
- Dress code for the clinic is comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and hair pulled out of face.
- Dress code for performance is Royal Treatment T-shirt, black leggings and hair pulled out of face. Dancers are encouraged to customize and "dress up" as much as they wish.
- Dancers should bring a refillable water bottle to the clinic and performance.
- Snacks will be provided at the clinic. Typically these include gatorade, granola bars, goldfish and cheese. Dancers are welcome to bring their own snacks.
- Placement of participants on the field is at the discretion of the Director. We typically reserve the front row placements for 6th graders. We do allow you to make a note of preferred Royalty dancers at checkout, but placement is prioritized based on relationship with the dancer.
- We have multiple photographers on the field during the halftime performance to capture photos of all participants. We will also release a video of the performance. We encourage parents to simply watch and enjoy!
Frequently asked questions
Can my child be moved so they are dancing in the front? Placement of dancers is at the sole direction of the Royalty Directors. Placement in the front is generally reserved for 6th graders for whom this will be their last Royal Treatment.
What if my child has an inhaler or EpiPen? Depending on the child’s age and your preference, you can keep those items with you and/or put them in their Royalty bag which they will have on the field. As volunteers, we are not able to administer medical care. Email with our VP of Events to make arrangements if you have serious concerns.
What if my child has special needs or unique circumstances to consider? Email our VP of Events and we can see what we can do.
What if my child cannot make the game but wants to come on Saturday? Just let us know. We cannot offer a discount, but we would still love for them to come.
What if my child cannot make the Saturday clinic, but wants to come on Friday? It is really best to attend the Saturday clinic so your child meets their Royalty dancer and practices the dance. However, we can make exceptions if you check with us.
